Apply for Hornby funding and help English teachers in your local community gain valuable professional development opportunities. The aim of the fund is to stimulate professional development through knowledge sharing, skills training and resource provision, wherever possible exploiting and strengthening the Hornby Alumni network and other local and regional teaching networks.
Your proposal can be about organising workshops, seminars, consultancies, exchanges and courses, including distance learning courses. The focus of the proposal should always be on activities rather than capital purchases. The maximum financial support is £1500 for an individual proposal.
