We had the honour to participate in Language Evolution in the Digital Age: The impact on Communication, Literature, Civilization and Teaching, an International Scientific Conference held at the University of Elbasan Aleksandër Xhuvani in May 2024.
The conference was held within the framework of the 30th anniversary of the opening of the English Language study program. In his welcoming speech, the Vice Rector of the University, Prof.as. Dr Peçi Naqellari, expressed the importance of the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Elbasan.
Tatjana Slijepcevic, the Manager of the Future English Programme at the British Council, participated in the opening ceremony and held a presentation titled British Council offer of English language teaching programs and how to get engaged? in which she focused on Online Teacher Community and other opportunities for ELT practitioners to get involved with the British Council. British Council expertise and dedication continue to empower the ELT community across the region. This is of huge benefit to English teachers and teacher educators.
