Although we are currently still in the sensitive situation regarding Covid-19 pandemic, we have managed to start with trainings for the fourth cycle our programme.
As restrictions ease, we have safely reintroduced face to face trainings using strict protocols to protect our trainers and participants. Reducing number of people in classroom and adjusting training rooms to ensure enforcing social distancing rules was one of our core principles during the events. We were also extra diligent with the cleaning and people protection measures such as wearing masks, sanitising every workstation and equipment and ensuring staff members practice exceptional personal hygiene.
August 2020 – School Leaders training
During 28-29 August our trainers have delivered 8 simultaneous two-day training sessions in regions of Lezha, Durres, Fier and Elbasan. Approximately, 110 school leaders participated in the trainings.
During these trainings, school leaders were monitored and mentored to integrate core skills and coding skills across extracurricular and curricular activities, including facilitation of feedback day session.
September 2020 – CTPS training
34 simultaneous three-day training sessions were delivered in cities of Durres, Lushnje, Fier, Elbasan, Lezhe and Bulqize divided in three rounds during 03-05 September, 08-10 September and 11-13 September 2020. Approximately 440 teachers from 118 schools in these regions participated in the trainings.
The trainings were successfully completed for the cycle four of the programme, integrating problem solving, critical thinking and coding skills in teaching and learning process.
